We had a great turnout this year for our holiday celebration. This year we decided to go low key for our event.  With our economy in the basement, we thought the designers could use a night of relaxation and quiet conversation among spirits and good food! 

About 50 designers and manufacturer’s reps attended this year! Some of the faces we saw included Faith McGowen with Merrill Lynch, Ron Titus with Interface, Holli Blasco with Designtex, Jerry and Terry Caito of Acousti, Brandi Markiewicz of Wolf Gordon, John Perez with Rink, Marsha Faulkner of Catlin Design and Chung Rutter of RS&H.

This year, we asked for members to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots!  The gifts that arrived for the donation table were awesome!  One in particular, an oversized stuff animal horse brought by the Caito’s. There were some really happy children who received gifts this year from IIDA!

The December Happy Hour social was really fun and relaxing and was held at a great venue with delicious food by Pom’s Thai Bistro.  Even when times are bad, IIDA can still come up for a way for its members to come together and toast off the holidays!
