The PGA Tour at TPC was willing to have IIDA invite our members and the A&D community in
for an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the new beautiful clubhouse that opened earlier in 2007.
The course is the home to The Player's Championship, an annual prestigious event on the PGA Tour.

We also reserved a private room overlooking the golf course with catered food, beer and wine.  We
were given a special presentation from the project architect about the vision, the struggles and the
successes about the new construction project.

We had over 20 industry reps, architects, designers and guests attend the tour and social representing
some well established designers from the Jacksonville community as well as young up and comers 
who are making an impact on projects in the area from Rink Design, JSA, Inc, Gresham Smith & 
Partners, etc.  We were also honored to have Leigh Fogle and Lesley Hamilton from Fogle Fine Art & 
Accessories attend who were closely engaged in the project as installers for all of the artwork in the 
new clubhouse.

Tour go-er’s were so thrilled to get sneak behind the scenes peaks at prohibited areas including the
men’s (champions) locker room and lounge and a walk through the champions’ corridor!  Cell phone
cameras were going wild taking photographs of the legends lockers such as Tiger Woods and Phil 
Mickelson.

Whether you like the game of golf or not, IIDA members and guests truly enjoyed the TPC Clubhouse 
tour and the chance to view such a prestigious organization’s facility while exploring, seeing and 
experiencing the true Players Championship experience!
