The Florida Chapter of IIDA offered a last minute opportunity for members and guests in the Tallahassee area to obtain CEU credits before this February’s deadline. The course was presented at a new and exciting venue, the Challenger Learning Center, located downtown.
Andrew’s, a local restaurant favorite, catered a satisfying lunch consisting of herb crusted chicken, housemade mashed potatoes, and green beans almondine. Terry presented a very informative CEU course titled, “Advanced Ceramic Tile Methods, Standards and Materials.” We covered a range of topics such as, current trends in tile and installation, the history and manufacturing process of the different types of tile on the market, industry and ANSI standards for tile applications, and specifying tips from someone with over 15 years in the business.
Terry also provided our group with numerous varied samples which added to the interest and effectiveness of the course. The obtainable knowledge from this CEU will be useful to anyone practicing in the interior design industry. IIDA Professional and Associate members attended the event as well as guests of ASID and licensed designers in the Tallahassee area.
